DENTISTRY
Sierra Veterinary Hospital is your pet’s dentist. We specialize in dentistry and have extensively outfitted our hospital with the latest in equipment and procedures for ensuring dental health safety and comfort. Every pet eventually needs dental care, and we make it easy to get the best when it comes to dental health.
PET RESORT
With plenty of space for pets to stay, SVH provides pet boarding for dogs and cats. Dogs have opportunities for ample outdoor time for play and activities, and cats have a dedicated quiet space to stay. Medical boarding is also available for pets that require medications.
We routinely perform a variety of diagnostic imaging, such as radiographs, ultrasound, echocardiography, and more. Our team of veterinarians read imaging studies, and we have specialists available for more complex consultations.
PHYSIOTHERAPY AND REHABILITATION
With multiple therapeutic lasers and an underwater treadmill, SVH is well equipped to help your pet recover from an injury, lose weight, or even just stay active and mobile as they age. We also perform stem cell and Platelet Rich Plasma treatments.
LABORATORY TESTING
We submit laboratory work for analysis on a daily basis and have capabilities to do in-house cytology, complete blood counts, blood chemistry, thyroid tests, and more. Our reference laboratory partners perform pathology, serology, blood tests, and other critical testing.
PRESCRIPTION DIETS
We stock and recommend a wide variety of prescription diets that can assist in treatment of many common illnesses of pets.
HOSPICE CARE AND SUPPORT
The doctors at SVH love distinguished pets and we are always honored by an opportunity to help with advice, care, and transitions for senior pets and their families.
CRYOSURGERY
At SVH, we use liquid nitrogen cryosurgery for removal of small masses, skin tags, and other superficial growths. This unique surgical modality allows us to remove growths in a less invasive manner without sedation or anesthesia for faster recoveries and safety.
MICROCHIPPING
We routinely implant pets with microchips that are able to be scanned by veterinary hospitals and animal shelters. These microchips are registered to the owner of a pet to allow for permanent identification that may help reunite you and your pet if they ever leave home.
